("AddressHub", "we", "our", or "us"), including our website, mobile applications, and virtual mailbox services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
AddressHub provides virtual mailbox services, including but not limited to:
- Physical mailing addresses at over 2,500 locations
- Mail receiving, scanning, and digital viewing
- Mail forwarding to any address worldwide
- Package receiving and forwarding
- Check deposit services
- Mail shredding and recycling
- Real-time notifications and alerts
3. Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our Services. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3.2 USPS Form 1583
As a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), we are required by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to collect a completed USPS Form 1583 from each customer. You must provide valid government-issued identification and complete the notarization process before we can begin receiving mail on your behalf.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Plans
We offer various subscription plans with different features and limits. Details of each plan, including pricing and features, are available on our Pricing page.
4.2 Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the billing cycle you choose. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our money-back guarantee.
4.3 Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied with our Services, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription. This guarantee applies only to the first subscription period.
4.4 Overages
If you exceed the limits of your subscription plan (e.g., monthly envelope limit), additional charges may apply. We will notify you when you are approaching your limit. Additional envelopes are charged at $0.50 per envelope.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our Services to:
- Receive or distribute illegal or prohibited items
- Commit fraud or engage in deceptive practices
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Receive mail or packages on behalf of others without proper authorization
- Use the service to create a false identity or misrepresent your affiliation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms.
6. Mail Handling
6.1 Mail Receiving
We will receive mail and packages on your behalf at your designated address. We will scan the exterior of each mail piece and notify you of its arrival.
6.2 Mail Actions
You may instruct us to open and scan, forward, shred, or store your mail. We will process your instructions within 1 business day. Forwarding times depend on the carrier and destination.
6.3 Mail Storage
Physical mail is stored at our secure facilities for up to 30 days. After 30 days, unclaimed mail may be returned to sender or shredded at our discretion. Extended storage options may be available for an additional fee.
6.4 Prohibited Items
We do not accept hazardous materials, perishable goods, live animals, or items prohibited by USPS regulations. We reserve the right to refuse any item that poses a safety risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AddressHub, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claims related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on the Services are the property of AddressHub, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
9. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, any physical mail in our possession will be handled according to your last known preferences, or returned to sender after 30 days.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
